I am a storyteller and a poet.

I use words and thread, pencil and needle, paper and fabric.

my work is an ongoing conversation with myself.

don’t believe what they say.

being alive is hard.

sometimes, it feels like a stone tied to your ankles, and you, with your five-year-old-eyes, trying to outrun everything you are still afraid of.

but not always.

don’t believe what they say, or rather, believe some of it, not all of it.

let go of the rest.

you will know best what to give a name to, what to keep, what to set free.

we don’t have to pretend.

that’s how we find our way into the deep places; the murky water where nothing breathes.

still, even within this truth, you are alive, breathing.

being alive is the easiest thing.

you’re doing it right now.

see? many things can be true at the same time.

this, is everything.

don’t let your feelings wander off with the keys.
