i wake up with these words rooting themselves in the rich soil behind my eyes.

i think i’ll plant them outside my own life…

…for if you also need to remember, and so that you also won’t forget, and for when you do forget, because we are only soft bodies made of fear and also holy things.

and we forget what we need to remember and we remember what we need to forget.
