my work is an ongoing conversation with myself.

asking myself the questions that matter

…you know it

that space between the lives

that you thought you would have

and the one that unfolds around you

{as if you, soft mammal body, had any real control of your days}

what you do in that space

—what you allow your mind to believe, and plant

in the tender, fertile field that is your heart

that will make all the difference

we are here to learn how to love, how to share the playground with other

soft bodies, how to forgive, let go

and when it matters

how to walk away gently

because we are here to love ourselves, too.
