there are hundreds of places you will not belong.

thousands more, if you live your life being quietly married to your own truth.

there will be circles within which you will not be welcomed—places where you will always feel less.

why look to the left, or to the right?

your life is a few minutes long. why make it a rough copy of someone else’s?

it takes a brave heart to stand on the outside, saying each morning, ‘here i am. i am enough.’

a wee note for you, to remind you how brave you really are.
